Image of the Week: Holding the Moon

This week's image is my abstract piece, "Holding the Moon". 

"Holding the Moon" is an acrylic painting piece I did last year. Before everything was shut down due to Covid, I had signed up with Yaymaker to lead Paint Nite events. Later in the year, I decided to create some pieces for myself and my own paint party events. This was one of them.

 

For this piece, I had an acrylic pour that was mostly white and silver. I wanted to start with a moon, so I then blocked out the sky, added stars and the tree.
