This piece started out with an idea to create something that looked like smoke. I painted my canvas black and then added some fluid silver and pink. Using a hairdryer, I blew the paint upward and out. Once the piece had dried, I examined it and found that I kept seeing a skull in the piece. I wanted to highlight that, so I hand painted the white and black lines of the skull.
Now, I can't help but see a fish swimming around behind it... Anyone else?
