In Portal Over the Desert, I wanted to explore the relationship between organic landscapes and subtle structure. The desert has a natural flow to it, uneven ground, shifting light, and plants that grow where they can. I paired that organic feeling with geometric elements and fluid, paint-pour inspired movement in the sky to create a sense of balance between intuition and intention.

I created this fine art print by layering sweeping color, textured gold accents, and softly defined shapes that feel like they are guiding the eye rather than controlling it.
