In Desert Shards and Stardust, I wanted to explore the idea that desert landscapes are never just one thing. I imagined an alternate reality where plants subtly shift depending on light, time, and perspective, as if you’re catching brief glimpses of different moments layered together. The fractured shapes act like windows, revealing variations in color and form that feel familiar and otherworldly at the same time.

I created this fine art print by combining desert botanicals with angular interruptions and flowing sky textures, allowing the scene to feel both grounded and slightly untethered. The agave and flowering forms echo what we recognize, while hints of glow, gold accents, and shifting hues suggest transformation rather than permanence.
